Summary
In the squad room, the cops on the Manchester murder investigation unit call Janine Lewis, "Boss." At home, the kids call her mum. In both places, she manages to keep everyone in line, but only just barely. Janine is a chief detective and a single mom who is trying to balance the demands of both her career and her family. This time around, Janine will tackle some of her most baffling cases yet: the murders of an illegal Belarusian aemigrae, a suburban cheerleading coach, and a rock star about to break into the big time.
