Summary
New Orleans, Louisiana, 1858. A new family has just moved to town, wealthy, French, old money. The Boudines are all beautiful, and with their youngest, Blanche, they intend to make their mark on the French Quarter. Then Blanche meets the fiance of Marie Laveau, the original Voodoo Priestess of New Orleans, and gets pregnant. The Mistress curses the Boudine family, deciding that the entire family deserves Laveau's most destructive curse that lasts through generations.
